Lest selbst:
FSD: „What did you have for breakfast?“
Guillaume: „Nothing special: A toast and an egg.“
FSD: „Did you see something of Stuttgart?“
Guillaume: „Unfortunately not a lot. Only a children’s playground and the streets of Stuttgart.“
FSD: „Who is GRIEFJOY?“
Guillaume: „We already founded our band in highschool. Since that we’ve been playing concerts together under our former name “Quadricolor”.
FSD: And how would you describe your music?
Guillaume: „We wanted to create music without any barrier… Our first album, which is named “GRIEFJOY” has just been released in Germany two months ago. Our first single „Touch Ground“ unites dance beats and melody, that will keep you awake during the night. You can find Indie-Rock and Pop sounds throughout the album. The record does not step back from ecstatic electro: “Insane” equals an electric roller coaster ride and the spherical “Feel” completes all colours of our comprehensive sound.“
FSD: „When and where has been your best concert and why?“
Guillaume: „Every night is special to us. But Belfort Festival, France was quite unique, because we were playing on top of a lake, surrounded by a huge festival crowd, they were all dancing and jumping. This was pretty amazing for us.“
FSD: „What German words did you learn while touring through Germany?“
Guillaume: „Danke“, „Guten Tag“, „Hallo“, „Kinder“, because we stayed across from a „Kinderkrankenhaus“
FSD: How do your girlfriends feel about you being part of a (boy-)band?
Guillaume: „I have a relationship for 4 years. Of course it is difficult when we are on tour, because we miss each other. Je t’aime.“
FSD: Is there any difference between playing concerts in France and Germany?
Guillaume: „No not really. I would say people from town to town are different. People in Paris are more “shy” during concerts than people from other parts of France. Same is probably true for Germany.“
Beeinflusst von verschiedensten Genres (Rock, Jazz, Pop, Elektro, Ambient, Soundtracks) präsentieren uns GRIEFJOY mit ihrem ersten Album zehn facettenreiche Songs.
Mein persönlicher Lieblingstrack: “Taste me”.
Wir freuen uns euch auf eurer nächsten Tour wieder in Deutschland begrüßen zu dürfen//Nous serions contents de vous accueillir de nouveau en Allemagne pendant votre prochaine tournée!!!!
Kleiner Nachtrag @Guillaume: I now remember the Christmas market dish that you were wondering what it was, it’s called „Kartoffelpuffer“.
